Hi All!
Just an update of what's happening with DaVisioness Designs.
Some of you may know that for a few months this year I was kind of "OUT of Commission" due to real life health issues....HOWEVER, the old bird is back in full swing here and trying to rally up my spunk and get caught up on all the items I was working on just prior to my slight setback.
I've managed one release so far and have many more coming pretty quick here.
(New Boots & Shoes actually).

I also used some of my "downtime" to improve a few things and get caught up with some of the newer tools available on the grid. I'm pretty excited and I think you all will be as well.

I will keep you all informed as we go here and if not one of my "BlogDiva's" will take up my slack and keep you up to date on it all.

That's right!! With the new year, DaVisioness Designs is getting ready to take over the grid, one shoe at a time. So hold on to your boot straps and prepare for the ride of your lives!! We already hit you with the Amy boot. Now...we're giving you a bit of attitude with the B*yotch Boot!!

This punchy, gothic leather boot comes in black, blue, dark chocolate, forest green, olive, pecan, purple and red with really eye catching chains, charms and handcuffs (ooooh...handcuffs ^.^ *droooool* ok ok..focus on the blog woman...SHEESH!).

As you know from our previous post, we have the limited edition LONG Christmas Boots. Well hold on to your heels...because DaVisioness has released the Christmas Ankle Boot!! That's right!! Santa Stole a Boot!

Good morning Fam! You will not believe what happened...

DaVisioness herself was working on her newest release and as she went to turn her back, she spied a round shadow sweep across her wall. When she turned around, she heard a rumbling and immediately thought, "oh no...not the newest release!" as she dashed to the workroom only to find a portly gent, on his knees licking a boot and then trying to steal it! Now you know how licking items works in the flesh and blood world: you lick it...it's yours! Anyway...she chased down this rather fast fellow who, for some reason, was seemingly playing with his nose and trying to sneak out of the chimney when she realized it was ... Santa O.O ?!? I mean I know the economy is a tad shaky, but for real dude? Licking a boot and trying to steal it is NOT the way to go.

Turns out, he was trying to nab them as a gift for the Missus! After she straightened him out, he agreed to reverse the damage in exchange for a paid for set of the boots for his lil lady and gave her a lil extra to keep th boots limited in edition and release. After careful consideration she agreed, gave the man the boot (pun intended) and sent him on his way.

This boot is AMAZING. A crushed velvet boot offers 3 color choices on: colors for the boot (gold, black and red), heels, soles, bells & straps (all operated by our very easy to use hud). Add in the nice fur cuff as your added flair and I can see why the man in red wanted the boots so bad for the wifey...they are HAWT!

Now keep in mind...this is one of three Christmas Boots being released this season at DaVisioness, so you do have opportunities coming for something a little different, but...here's the trick: this boot will ONLY be available for a limited time and quantity...so you want to hurry on down to Davisioness before Santa's elves find the "boot"y being hidden for the Missus and try to nab a pair...for themselves...

Hello DaVisioness Family!

This is your friendly neighborhood Miss K with news from DaQueen herself!! Effective immediately all prim shoes (that's shoes without the prim toes) have been reduced to L$150. Why you ask? Well...it's simple! Have you noticed that there is a trend leaning toward that of toe shoes? Well while we at DaVisioness do make toe shoes, we also know that those shoes can be a tad more expensive than the norm and not all avatars may be inclined to pay hefty prices. And why should you sacrifice your hard earned (or purchased) linden for the sake of good shoes? That's right...you shouldn't!! Above are just a few to whet your appetites ;)

After taking a break for a while and working on a few other projects.......

I have this "NEW FOUND ENLIGHTMENT" and I'm back in swing of things and working swiftly to finish some new items that I had put off finishing the past few months.

In the interim of things I was able to learn a few new tricks and going to do my best to apply them to my new items.

Look forward in the next week or so for some great new items.
I'm really excited about all the new stuff I have coming out over the next few weeks!
I am back in Secondlife 100% at the grind just like I was once before.

On a different note:

Many of you knew that I had once taken my items to one of the Opensim Grids-"Legend City Online".

For those of you who are there and knew at one time "DaVisioness Designs" was active in the community, please note I no longer conduct business there.

Some of you may even have noticed over the past 2-3 months that I had removed my items from the grid. Just FYI before you spam me with "OMG SOMEONE STOLE YOUR SHOES" again....more than likely the items of mines you see are ones that were purchased by other residents during the time I was active in the community and had items for sale there.

However, should you find anyone selling my items please feel free to notify me ASAP as no one has,nor ever had permission to sell any of my items.
(I don't allow any perms of my items other than copy) in any virtual world.

Bio of DaVisioness Designs

Being the person that loves to chat, I find that blogging assists me with spreading my gift of gab lol. Therefore, I thought it would be best to give more info on who,what,why & where is DaVisioness Designs!

DaVisioness Designs began in the late summer of 2006 after purchasing an inworld building tool that created shoes. I began working like a mad woman making allll the wonderful shoes this device could make for me and selling them.
Well, shortly after doing so....I thought to myself "hmmm,these had to be made some kinda way in order for this thing to being able to produce them thru this machine"!
So, I took one apart,began looking at how it was made....numbers,cuts the whole nine yards. I then said "Hmmmm wonder if I change this number,that cut,this rotation....what can I doto make my very own design?"
Thus so began my own creations. I kept at it until I evolved myself to the level I am now. This is an ongoing learning process for me however.Which is one of many great things about SecondLife, it's a neverending learning opportunity.

Far from a Master Shoe Builder, I still strive to achieve my status one day as Master Shoe Designer. It is a long road ahead but with the people I have keeping watchful eye over my progress at all times, I should come along nicely just at a snail's pace.

As this is a virtual world,designers have a constant vision of new things to create both from things we see in Real Life, or something as in my case....Just from the pure depths of my twisted mind.

At DaVisioness Designs, I strive to create Elegant footwear fashions at an affordable cost. I think we can all have our avatars look simply stunning in just quallity work without having to pay extremely high prices for it. My creations aren't released often, but I am making more effort to do more releases due to current customers,friends and *whispers*...nagging overseer's (mentors).

So there you have it mostly. DaVisioness Designs. Not much to the story for those that know of my works, but a huge fill in for those that are becoming to know my works.

Be sure to keep informed of all of my new releases thru my blog as I will always post them here now as well as the inworld fashion groups I am a member of.

To ALL that have supported my efforts as a designer, I THANK YOU for all of your support! This fashion world is but of a difficult one and getting out there is a hard task but if anyone knows "Ol' Queenie".....they know i'm going to give it my best shot and try to make it work.

New Release from DaVisioness Designs....."LickMe"

Just released 11-08-08!

This is my first time ever blogging so bear with me as I run down the details of this release.

"LickMe" is my newest creation from DaVisioness Designs. Here's a few details about the shoes.
Description:

Sculpted prim shoe (minus 1 prim)

Menu re-sizeable cuff features

PVC-Latex textures with soft leather inner texturing
Chrome accents.
In addition, I have added a few perks to this build. Sold seperately, I have matching BDSM Collars & Cuff sets available that have been enhanced with the
"Xcite-ToKon" HUD features. To have full use of these features you will have to visit your nearest Xcite store and purchase either of the 3 different ToKon HUDs that are available there.
The ToKon HUD will permit you to have interactions with your Xcite genitals while wearing the HUD and the Collar & Cuffs that I have designed for this release.
The ToKon HUD offers many options while wearing it. Including the ability to custom color the small prims on the ankle cuffs,collar & wrist cuffs. Also you can change the collar's Label as well to give it a personal name tag for your collar.

The shoes are sold in a non-xcite version with only a resizeable cuff, and in complete packages including the xcite enhanced items as well.
